Sturgis, SD to Custer State Park, SD. Day 5
Memories...
Sturgis Motorcycle Museum, worth a visit! There is a sole Royal Enfield there!
Going back to Days End campground to retrieve my sun glasses that I forgot in their office
The heartfelt breakfast
Meeting the gentleman who runs a gift shop next to museum in Sturgis, listening to his around the world tours with navy & his interests in astrology. I bought extra gifts :-)
The fog of Vanocker canyon road, changing into leather jacket on the road
Mt Rushmore, standing next to big guys of the nation... The photo shoots! Sleeping in their theater.. the shot of espresso.. woke me up!!
Parking Bijli in the crowd of Harleys.. The queen stands alone & strong & different from the crowd
Crazy Horse Monument. "Never forget your dreams!"
The famous Pine Needle Hwy, SD. One of the top roads for motorcycles in the nation
Custer state park, one of the best state parks I visited... lakes, rocks, roadside wild friends.. It got it all!
The nice lady at the park entrance who came out of her booth the ensure my safety while tagging my motorcycle for entry. Kind hearts make an ever lasting impression
Arriving at my cabin in Game Lodge campground... a nice cabin with bunk beds, by the water, all to myself!
Trying to sleep on the top bunk bed, and then getting to the bottom one in after few minutes. In all my outdoor trips with my family, I never once had a chance to take the top bed.. dream achieved! Only to realize it was not for me
